Vineyard puts on Norwich stand-up comedy night
Christian comedian Andy Kind, star of Spring Harvest and national TV, featured in a night of stand-up comedy, stories and banter put on by Norwich Vineyard and Thorpe Town Council in Thorpe St Andrew, Norwich on October 19.
Andy is an award-winning comedian who has been on the stand-up circuit since 2005, winning the ‘Anything for Laffs’ competition the same year.
He has performed at numerous festivals, been featured on BBC1, ITV and Channel Four, has been described by The Scotsman as ‘terrific’ and BBC online as ‘a future star’ and is also one of the initiators of the UK Clean Comedy movement.
In April 2011, Andy’s first book, Stand Up and Deliver: a nervous rookie on the comedy circuit was published by Lion Hudson. The sequel, The Gig Delusion, was released by Wilmot Books earlier this year.
Alongside all the gigging and book-penning, Andy works as a writer-for-hire and his jokes have featured on Dave’s One Night Stand andLive at the Apollo. He currently enjoys writing regular articles for Families First magazine and CVM, and has written for, amongst others, The Gooner, Threads and Sorted Magazine.
