Church Life

 

Sundays: We meet at Thorpe St Andrew High School, Laundry Lane, Norwich, every Sunday at 10.30am, for worship, teaching, and prayer. We include communion on the 1st and 3rd Sundays each month. In true Vineyard style, coffee and doughnuts are always available at the end of the meeting.

Children's work: The children and young people have their own activities on a Sunday morning, including n'Gage and the highly popular Kidz Klub, pioneered in Liverpool.

'Come Holy Spirit,' is a fortnightly Sunday evening meeting for prayer and worship, and listening to God.

Vineyard care, including Foodstore, Souprun, and Vineyard Action, is our programme of social outreach with the homeless, poor and disadvantaged of our city. We encourage donations of food which is distributed through health centres, social services and other caring agencies.

Homegroups, fun and sport! The church meets in small groups, mostly of a weekday evening, in people's homes. To find out if there is a small group near you, contact the office. We also regularly run the Alpha course for people enquiring into the christian faith, and the Marriage course; a practical course for couples.

As a church we love to meet each other in relaxed, social activities, often involving food and fun. We also have football teams for adults and children. For the more sedate, the occasional angling tournament.

Totstop is the name of the carers and toddlers group that happens at the Dussingdale centre, Thorpe, on Tuesday mornings during school terms from 9.45am. For more details please contact the office.
